How do I receive my gift card after purchasing it in the online shop?
Gift cards purchased through our online shop are sent in PDF format to the email address you provided when placing your order.
In what amounts can I purchase a gift card?
Gift cards can be purchased for any amount between EUR [X] and EUR [X]. Redemption is only possible in the currency in which the gift card was purchased.
Can I redeem multiple gift cards at the same time?
Yes, gift cards can also be redeemed together. If the amount on the gift card is lower than the payment amount, the difference can be settled using any other payment method accepted at the respective point of sale. If the amount on the gift card is equal to or lower than the payment amount, the gift card will be redeemed in full – partial redemption is not possible. If the amount on the gift card is higher than the payment amount, the remaining balance will stay on the gift card. You can check your current balance at any time here.
What happens to my gift card balance if I cancel an order?
If a purchase paid for in full or in part with a gift card is cancelled, we will refund the amount using the original payment method – including a refund to the gift card. If several payment methods were used for the original order, the gift card amount will be refunded first, followed by the remaining amount via the other payment methods.
Can I pass my gift card on to another person?
Gift cards are transferable. Redemption by the respective holder of the gift card shall be deemed to discharge the debt. However, the resale of gift cards is not permitted.
Can I have the balance on my gift card paid out or top it up?
No, gift cards do not accrue interest and cannot be paid out in cash, topped up, transferred for value, or offset against outstanding payments.
What happens if I lose my gift card?
We accept no liability for the loss or theft of gift cards. There is no entitlement to a replacement. Please keep your gift card in a safe place.
What happens in the event of suspected fraud?
If there is suspicion of fraud, deception, or any other unlawful act in connection with the purchase or redemption of a gift card, we are entitled to request payment via another payment method and/or to close the respective customer account.
